At Good Dog Collective, our goal is to provide a safe, low-stress, and professional grooming experience for every pet. Please review the following policies before your appointment.
New Clients
All new clients must complete a Client Intake Form prior to their first appointment. The form includes your pet’s health history, allergies, sensitivities, and behavioural information necessary for the safety of your pet and our team.
A valid credit card is required to secure all new client appointments. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to our Cancellation & No-Show Policy.
Booking Appointments
Appointments may be booked online through our website.
A booking fee of $25 + HST is required at the time of scheduling. This fee secures your appointment and is applied to your final invoice on the day of service.
Walk-in appointments may be accommodated based on groomer availability and discretion. We recommend calling ahead before arriving.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call or text (437) 876-7786.
Appointment Confirmation
All appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
If confirmation is not received, the appointment may be cancelled and released to another client.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed appointments, or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the $25 booking fee.
Exceptions may be considered at management’s discretion in cases of genuine emergency.
Please note that grooming appointments are reserved exclusively for your pet. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows directly impact our groomers, who are compensated based on scheduled services.
Arrival & Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be charged a late fee of $25 or more. Depending on the schedule, the appointment may need to be cancelled and treated as a no-show.
Pick-Up Policy
Pets must be picked up at the time provided by the groomer.
As a cage-free facility, Good Dog Collective does not provide boarding or extended pet care following grooming services.
Senior Pet Policy
Pets aged 10 years and older are considered senior pets and may be more susceptible to stress or underlying health concerns.
By proceeding with grooming services, owners acknowledge and accept the increased risks associated with grooming senior pets.
Post-Groom Adjustments
If any grooming adjustments are required, clients must notify us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will be pleased to review and address any reasonable concerns.
Veterinary Care & Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, Good Dog Collective is authorized to seek immediate veterinary care for your pet at the nearest available veterinary clinic.
All veterinary and related medical expenses remain the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
Health Disclosure
Owners must ensure their pet is in good health prior to each appointment.
Any medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, injuries, illnesses, physical limitations, or behavioural concerns must be disclosed before grooming services begin.
Acknowledgement
These policies are designed to protect the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in our care while allowing us to provide exceptional service to every client.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
